INFANT / TODDLER PROGRAMS
The Infant/Toddler programs provide two teachers per nine children in a loving, nurturing and safe environment in which children are encouraged to explore their environments. We not only provide carefully balanced active and quiet periods throughout the day, but also stimulation and a sense of security. As your infant grows and develops, he begins to express independent thoughts and to make his own choices. To help him learn through play, a variety of activities are available, from riding toys and climbing equipment, to music, art, stories and books. These experiences support development of language, self-esteem and motor skills.
The Pre-School programs (2.9 to 4.9 years) allow your child to build self esteem, confidence and social skills. Imagination and dramatic play combine to create an environment for growth. Our open-ended activity areas and curriculum open up a world of active learning. This allows children to develop significant relationships as they learn to cooperate. They also develop communication skills which allow them to interact appropriately with important adults in their worlds.
The Pre-Kindergarten program focuses on bringing out the special gifts and talents of each child. Language, art, science, math and music activities prepare children for life in a secure and supportive environment which fosters intellectual curiosity and creative thinking.
Our Kindergarten children attend a full day program at the public school. While they are here, our developmentally appropriate curriculum satisfies their curiosity for knowledge and prepares them for first grade.
SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN PROGRAMS
Our School Age children are served breakfast before school and return to an afternoon snack. Teachers plan and prepare a stimulating environment in which children are challenged to learn through active exploration and interaction. If they (or you) wish, they can do their homework (with help if needed), play sports, or just relax, as we recognize that they have been in a structured setting all day.
